Footwear Modeling

Got a little gig thrown my way earlier in the year after my footwear modeling internship at New Balance and had the opportunity to produce 3d models of another brand of shoes. Quick and general 2d assets shared, a little back and forth dialog on the details and voilá: models made in Modo. It was a good experience, encouraging as well, being a contributor in a project like this and getting to see it progress and then shared in the world of retail. Check out my work below, and check out their product: hypofootwear.com they’ve got a pretty interesting story too.

And of course, it was equally exciting to see a shoe I also built and rendered in Modo 3d available for sale on the New Balance website, specifically this women’s lifestyle shoe.
