Good Luck in Kansas
As folks are getting ready to toe the line in the Flint Hills of Kansas tomorrow, I’m reminded of my time in Emporia. I wonder if I would have had a more successful race if I had designed my own helmet; probably not, that was the hardest physical effort I ever put myself through. I was successful in the only goal I gave myself by beating the sunset that day back in 2014.
