Functional Merchandise

While I’m not full-time in the bike industry any longer, I was under the impression that free-swag showing up in my mailbox was no longer going to happen. I guess being an industrial designer still holds that benefit, it was awesome to find a package addressed to me in this New Year!

The desk’s current status: MESS!

Two t-shirts, a couple sketch/notebooks, and a black COVID mask, someone is thinking about me and it feels nice!

I am left wondering if the name allntr is the abbreviated phrase: “all-nighter” as in, pulling an all-nighter, getting the job done, no matter the discomfort of burning the candle at both ends. Like Oxford defines:

all-night·er - an event or task that continues throughout the night, especially a study session before an examination

I get it, (even though recent studies are showing the detrimental effects doing so can produce), I fully expect to pull a few more in my near future.

Back to this swag, I especially dig the t-shirt (No 10) with the Dieter Rams quote:

Good design is as little design as Possible

The sketch books are rad and appreciated useful additions to the stack, as is the black COVID mask. (Mask up people—anything to stop the spread!)
